Who We Are

   40+ local club members paddlers, canoeists, and kayakers.

▪   2,000 – 4,000 combined km paddled yearly by members

▪   Paddling season from May to October

▪   Annual events like:

Evening paddles on the Snye

Local day trips

Overnight campouts

River stewardship projects

Paddling film festival

Training and skills course from beginner to advanced

▪   Point of contact for many Alberta, Canada, and International Paddlers

What We Do

▪   Promote local recreational canoeing and Kayaking by providing maps, routes, information, current conditions, and contacts.

▪   Share knowledge and learning through clinics and training.

▪   Organize social events, gatherings, and trips.

▪   Cooperate with other clubs and associations in the province and country.

▪   Encourage safe, low-impact camping, canoeing, and kayaking.

▪   Support the protection and conservation of our sustainable paddling environment.

▪   Provide a point of contact and voice representing the interests of local recreational paddling.
